Mia supports you through each section, helping you express your processes and evidence accurately and confidently without the stress that often comes with writing detailed responses from scratch.

Why We Introduced Mia

We heard from many organisations that while they valued the Trusted Standard framework, the writing element of self‑assessments could feel daunting, especially for smaller teams or those juggling multiple responsibilities. Mia was introduced to bridge this gap: a tool that guides you, ensuring the process feels manageable, achievable, and supportive.

A More Guided, Streamlined Process

Mia works by asking you a series of short, focused questions for each requirement. These are designed to help you think through your approach step by step, breaking each section of the self-assessment into clear, manageable prompts.

Using your responses, Mia then compiles a professional, well‑structured draft statement. You remain fully in control - everything can be reviewed, edited, expanded, or refined before you submit it. The aim is simple: give you a head start and reduce the cognitive load, while ensuring the end result still reflects your organisation’s practices.

Flexibility to Work Your Way

We recognise that every organisation works differently, which is why you can choose between two modes:

Classic View, which mirrors the style of the previous platform, and
Mia View, which incorporates the new guided writing features.
You can select the mode that suits you best and commit to it for your assessment. If you’ve already begun your submission in Classic View, you can continue seamlessly without disruption. If you’re starting fresh, Mia View may be the ideal way to accelerate your progress.
